- Mass. School Bans Tag

You've got to be kidding me
quote:
Officials at an elementary school south of Boston have banned kids from playing tag, touch football and any other unsupervised chase game during recess for fear they'll get hurt and hold the school liable.
Recess is "a time when accidents can happen," said Willett Elementary School Principal Gaylene Heppe, who approved the ban.
Other schools have also banned Tag, as well as Dodgeball. God damn. It's a pity. Dodgeball was tons of fun, especially Bombardo/Prison Dodgeball/whatever you want to call it.
But seriously, tag? It's a part of growing up. Playing tag, freeze tag, etc. Running around, scraping your knees, and maybe cracking your head into another kid... all part of growing up.
All these kids are going to grow up into giant pussies.
