So... I come home from work today, and there's a cop car on the other side of the street, and tons of cops and all the neighbors are out on the block. I ask what happened...

Turns out a man shot his wife across the street. I'm looking at the place out the window, it's immediately across the street from Jeremy's place. 20 feet away.

From what the neighbors tell me, they heard a girl scream bigtime, they looked out windows, saw her and a guy w/ a gun.

They went to call 911, heard shots fired, cops were already on their way. One neighbor heard a cop on our side of the street yell "PUT DOWN THE GUN" (or something to that effect). The guy with the gun took a shot at the cop, in the direction of the neighbor's house... The neighbor dove for the floor.

The cop was not hit, but there's now a bullet in the front door 6 houses down.

Then the guy w/ the gun, shot himself. Dead. The woman is in critical condition in Baltimore (an hour's drive, but was flown via helicopter)

Amie McLain was here asking neighbors what they saw (including myself - who saw nothing), and just did a little bit in front of the area, and just left.
