So... if some of you don't know... I'm down in Frederick, Maryland. I'm living with Kate's brother in law for a bit, until I find an apartment.

I left my old job on April 21st, and started the new one April 24th, at Lockheed Martin in Woodlawn, MD. It's more Java Web development stuff, but should be exciting. I'm on a team of ~20 people, which is in a group of ~40 people, in a building of about ~250 people. There are 4-5 Lockheed Buildings in a 1 block radius, with about 1000 people for all of it.

I can't do too much at work, as I need background check stuff to go through, so until then, it's reading books and learning about new technologies like Hibernate and Struts. All nerd stuff, I know I can't use the computer until my background check goes through, and even then, I won't be able to be on IM or even check personal email :(

My drive is anywhere from 40-60 minutes long, depending on when I leave. They have flex time, which is nice, and everyone there, especially management seem to be really nice.

So I'm currently looking for an apt/townhouse for rent in the area between Frederick and Woodlawn. Kate graduates May 13th, and she'll be coming down May 21st with the big move.

So yeah, just a normal status update, with no rage.
